PERTH WESTERN AUSTRALIA – June 20th 2022 agCommander® is now connected with the John Deere Operations Center™ through John Deere’s API services. This connection allows the clients of agCommander PTY LTD to link the field operation records in agCommander software to the matching John Deere Operations Center™ field records.
The user interface in agCommander will show the rich John Deere Operations Center™ data and field map relevant to each operation, enabling users to easily view and compare the two versions of the data.
agCommander CEO, Roger Wiese said “We have many clients using John Deere equipment and developing this integration was one of the first integrations promised to our clients when we began the development of the agCommander software platform. The importance of the integration is best explained by one of our clients…”
“As a long time user of The John Deere Operations Center™, linking data to our agCommander farm management software will save time and reduce errors in application data recording. The ability to draw insights from the pooled data to improve my decision making will enhance the usefulness of the data we are collecting (and encourage more data collection!) and make our business more sustainable and successful.” T.R. Victoria, Australia
agCommander is a relatively new cloud and mobile system, released in 2021 replacing the company’s “on premise” software. For over 30 years the company’s software has helped farmers and agricultural research organizations around the world analyze their farm records to make more informed decisions. Developed in Australia by farmers and helped along the way with feedback from thousands of farming clients, agCommander is a very versatile, very configurable, very powerful, very user-friendly Farm Management Information System (FMIS).
