Our two organizations have signed an exclusive partnership to roll out the software across Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
agCOMMANDER PTY LTD, established in 1988 originally under the name Fairport Farm Software, is the developer of an all-in-one software platform for all cropping and livestock types catering for the needs of family farming operations but scalable to be able to cater for the world’s largest farming operations. The agCommander Enterprise platform can easily be configured to suit the needs of a large Bureau Service type deployment like the proposed deployment through the countries of Central Africa. Users will be able to choose to run the software in either English or French and their country’s relevant currency. The RADER GROUP is headquartered in the Republic of Cameroon in west Central Africa and was created with the conviction that only innovation and technology can enable the countries of the Congo Basin and in particular Cameroon to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SGGs) adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015 on Sustainable development by 2030. The group is made up of the mother company RADER and its subsidiary GLOBTOURNET which has mobilized technologies from US, European and Australian firms among the world leaders in their respective fields, with a view to the combined implementation of Africa Green Impact (AGI) and Multimedia Hotspots for Development (REMUDEV) programs. The aim is to make a structuring technological contribution to the achievement of 13 Sustainable Development Goals, with promoting a productive, integrated and sustainable land use, strengthening food security, promoting renewable energy to boosting the access to electricity and potable water and accelerating climate action.
“Thanks to these partnerships, our farmers, breeders and forest owners can have better access to technologies, improve their access to loans or grants, have access to farm equipment and inputs from leading suppliers and gain production contracts on 25 crops to be produced on demand for local and export markets, allowing them to produce more with reduced or no greenhouse gas emissions” stated Aoudou Perem, Chief Executive Officer of the RADER GROUP.
agCommander will power the mapping, measurement and analysis of production records across all facets of agricultural production.
In specific reference to agCommander, Mr. Perem said “We were looking for the right platform that was easy-to-use and can be made available in English and French. Our clients will be able to manage and track livestock, build crop plans, monitor all inputs and yields, keep detailed records, manage work-orders, have comprehensive reporting, track finances, inventories, manage contracts and more, all from one secure, user friendly platform available on any device connected to the internet from anywhere.”
“We are excited to be chosen as one of the key technology partners in the rollout of the African Green Impact project. The RADER GROUP’s vision for managing the logistics of this very large project and their ability to put the technology partnerships together is impressive. We look forward to what I expect will be a very successful project”, agCommander’s CEO Roger Wiese stated.
